You read XKCD, right?
If you don't, you really, really should.
It was introduced to me last summer by the amazingly net-presence-free ML, and Teh Geek and I have enjoyed reading it ever since.
Anyway, you should go check it out. The Journal Saga has been expanded, and it continues to be one of the most awesome sequences of webcomics ever. (Here are the links to parts *1*, *2*, *3*, *4* and *5*.) It is the story of how two people with a strong enough connection to each other...
Never mind. Just read it yourself and experience the awesome. (And don't forget to read the extra bits of text you get whenever you mouse over the comic.)
Over the last weekend, Rylie gave me a new button for my recovered baldrics. It shows a blown up detail of a stick figure saying, "I LIKE MY HAT." It is now proudly displayed right on the front of the baldrics where they cross. It is a gift that I cherish greatly.
I've found myself thinking quite a bit about dreamerdevie's shirt that I linked to a week or two back. He told me where he got it from, but I've completely forgotten what he said. Someone please remind me to ask him at some point.
On an unrelated subject, I've discovered a new webcomic. It's called Questionable Content, and it's quite fun. It's about twenty-something geeks and nerds trying to get by in the Boston area. It's clear that the writer is a huge fan of the indie music scene, and he keeps filling his comic with all sorts of in-scene references that I can't even hope to get. Fans of the "Will they?/Won't they?" tension between Torg and Zoe over in Sluggy Freelance will really dig this comic.
Lastly, I feel compelled to defend my honor over something. To wit, Zombie-Dog doesn't know what he's talking about. I am the very soul of honesty. I would never intentionally mislead my friends, and furthermore I resent the implication that I would deliberately convolute and distort a simple statement into a long-winded verbal slight-of-hand merely for my own amusement. So there.
